Simple Circle Skirt

School is starting in under a week, and I have a goal for this next year. I want to make more of my clothes! I always feel so proud whenever I wear my tie-dye tights to school. And every summer i weed out all my old and too-small clothes, which made me notice something. I weeded out almost all of my skirts! I had maybe two skirts left, so I looked up how to make your own skirt!

Here's my finished product!

It literally took about two hours, but it would have been so much faster if I didn't have to hand stitch it (my machine broke and now everything has to be done with my crappy handstitch!). It was super easy to make and it is so comfy! I wore it all throughout my trip to Georgia and it worked well with every top I had! I can't wait to wear it to school!

Have any of you started school yet?

Colourful Keyboard

So I found this picture on Pintrest...

and decided to try it out!

I wanted my colours to be a bit more coordinated, which was good considering the fact that I only have four tapes. But really, how many different washi tapes do you need? Even one colour or pattern would be fun!

These are my four colours

And all else you need is scissors!

Here's the final result!

What do you think?
Hope it's as easy and fun for you as it was for me!

Ducks

I became best buddies with these little friends in my grandparent's backyard.

Their names are Fred, Ethel, and Muriel.

Fred even ate right out of my hand!

I even received some old photographs of my grandmother when she was little (left)
and my great-great-grandmother working at her local pharmacy!

How are you today?

Florida

So far in Florida we have...

Seen my grandparent's house,

Gone to a beautiful resort,

Met a funny bird whom I've named Sir Campbell,

And caught live sand dollars from the ocean.

More to see soon!
