We named our movie theater 'American Theaters'.
We had the Spider Man 2 disc out to show what's 'playing', my brother put out his gumball machine, and his money box, and I made tickets!
I had put the name of the theater (American Theater), the show (Spider Man 2, Simpsons & Napoleon Dynamite on Fox; or Fox Premiere, as I put it), the times it was showing, the date, the rating, and I put a little 'Soda Half Off!' coupon on it. :)
My dad had came to buy the tickets and my brother had told my dad 'That'll be one dollar, please.' He had pretended to find a dollar in his pocket to pay with, but my brother would only accept real money! I didn't really think he understood that we weren't a real movie theater!
And, finally, we went out to buy lots of sweets for the mini Snack Shack.
We bought Jolly Ranchers, Gummy Bears, Hi-Chews, Nerds, Junior Mints, rootbeer and grapefruit sodas.
I thought we should put the drinks in plastic coffee cups, just in case of any spilling; even if it doesn't go with the whole movie theme :)
So, do you guys like? Will any of you decide to make your own movie nights at home? What will you name yours?
Have a great Martin Luther King Jr. Day, everyone!!
xoxo,
Audrey
