70 Year-old Tony Stark

Hi you!
I have been looking forward to this day all week, the first day of my weekend. I've had summer school for the last four weeks, six hours a day of PE!! It is so tiring and I find myself being hungry all the time! But the up side is that I won't have to PE during my school year! Since this was my day off, I went out to get my uniform for Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. We ended up getting a bit more.

For breakfast we had watermelon and cinnamon rolls, which for me is like winning the lottery.

My mom found some notebooks and lotions with super cute designs on them. We bought two notebooks (because I burn through these things like crazy) and lotions in Vanilla Amber, White Orchid, and Shea Butter.

Then we went to the uniform store to get two oxford collared shirts for my Sea Scout uniform.

My hair lately has been dull and rough, so I tried putting leave-in conditioner in it. I ended up with sticky, waxy hair. So, we got a new leave-in conditioner to try! Hopefully I get new results than last time :)

Jeans were on sale and guess what I found? Boyfriend jeans! I have been looking for boyfriend jeans for months now, and I finally found some! I think I'm going to wear them for my first day of high school.

I also found Oxford shoes, which I have loved for years. They're the only every-day kind of heels I own, and rightly so because I am super clumsy.

My brother accidentally sold my video game (long story) and as an apology he drew me pictures of my favourite super hero and his side-kick.

Which got us to talking about Howard Stark. Captain America was probably in 1939/1940 (before or at the time that Germany took over Poland) and in the scene where Howard was showing off his new Car of the Future, he looked pretty young. People back then used to marry and have children around their twenties, so Howard probably had Tony a few years after Captain America took place. That said, Tony Stark is, like, 70 years old! Get your stuff together Marvel.

Now I'm getting ready to go to a Girl Scout meeting where I will learn how to remove my clothes in the water and inflate them to stay alive. The usual. :)

A sneak peak at the next DIY to come soon!

Things I Love About Fall

Hey!
What with it being the summer, I've fallen into a little bit of an old habit I have. You know when it's October or November and the weather is changing and you can almost feel the autumn all around you? I love this feeling, but unfortunately I get this feeling in the dead of summer. Yeah. I get all these great ideas for Halloween decorations and I get the craving for long pants and sweaters. And this happens every single summer! And it's nobody else but me, obsessing over pumpkin flavourings and warm blankets. So just to put a use to all this 'fall energy' I made a list of all the things i love about autumn. I even put pictures with them! But this is the first time I've used the computer to draw, and it came out looking like crap. But I need to start somewhere, right? Anyways, here the first six things I love about fall!

Vegan Triple Chocolate Cake Recipe

Hi y'all!
Today I'm going to share with you a
great triple chocolate cake recipe, and guess what?
It's vegan!
Yep; no eggs, no milk, no dairy at all!
Both my parents and I are vegans, so I've changed all my baking recipes
to match, and they are still so yummy!
So let's get started!

To make a triple chocolate cake, you'll have chocolate cake,
chocolate chips, and chocolate frosting.
First, for the cake, I used a box mix of dark chocolate cake
(the only box in the store that was vegan).

It says on the box to use eggs, but you can use one table spoon of
Bob's Red Mill egg replacer and three tablespoons of water for each
egg you are replacing.

Once your cake is all mixed up, add some chocolate chips.

Now that you've stuck that in the oven, we'll move on to
the frosting!

Here's what you'll need:

Blend the Sugar and butter (softened)

Then add everything else

Now just put it on top of your cake

And you're all done!
Although, you could add dancing pandas if you'd like :)

Yummy yummy!

And there you have it; the easiest vegan triple chocolate cake that I've ever made!
Chocolate cake, chocolate chips, and chocolate frosting- triple chocolate.
And this is the best frosting I have ever made from scratch, so rich and creamy!
I hope you enjoy as much as I do!

You Belong.

I just finished a drawing in my sketch book (idea stolen from Tumblr)
that I've been working on for a little while.

I'm so excited, because I've had this sketchbook
for about two years and it is the first notebook
that I've completely filled out.
Maybe I'll show you guys some of my drawings?
(lol, nope)

You discover that your longings are universal longings,
that you're not lonely and isolated from anyone.
You belong."

Shopping Haul

Hi guys!
Today I went shopping at
Forever 21,
and I thought I'd show you what I got!

I'd been craving chocolate, so my mom and I went
to See's candy and it was the first time for both of us!

I got three new tank tops for summer,
since it will only be about a month until school lets out.

And I got a three-quarter sleeve shirt.

A Star Wars shirt that I've been wanting for
a while now

And one of those skirts that's short in the front
and long in the back (mullet skirts? lol).

And finally, I got an Alice in Wonderland sweater.
Alice is my favorite Disney movie character,
and I absolutely love the book by C.S. Lewis!

I feel super successful!

I hope everyone's having a great weekend!
