New Years
This new years I was nonstop surrounded my family and friends, and it was great! My family actually wasn't going to celebrate New Years this year because my father had to work the next day and our family friends weren't able to make it, but I got invited to celebrate with my best friend and her family. All my photos are from my phone's camera, so they're kinda crappy but I tried to photoshop them to look as nice as possible.
We ate a lot of chocolate cake, played board games, talked about school, and watched Monsters University, which was so cute!
At midnight we all went out into the street with pots and spoons and poppers to make as much noise as possible.
When it was time to wind down, we put air mattresses in the living room and cuddled up. It was such a nice way to fall asleep, with the christmas tree lights and Nora Jones playing and three dogs snuggling with us.
The next morning was straight into action, I went to my friend's house for a wonton party, where all the kids made lunch.
It was so delicious! After we ate, the older kids went on a walk around the neighborhood with the dog where we hung out at the park and laughed and sang songs from Frozen (my absolute favourite Disney princess movie!).

I feel so happy and blessed to have had such a great end and start to this new year, which I'm sure will be filled with so many great things for everyone!
How was your new years? What are your resolutions?

Coming Soon: Etsy!
Guess who's started an Etsy shoppe? Moi! I haven't gotten anything up yet, but fun things are on the way! I'll be making bags (and possibly more in time) from hand designed fabric I've made on Spoonflower! Once I've accomplished more, I'll put up my Etsy shoppe site and my Spoonflower shoppe site if you'd like to get the fabric that I've used.
Making thing has always been my passion (therefore this blog) and it's a big dream come true to be putting my creations up for others to see and have! I'm so excited to be working on something new and fun and hopefully show you guys soon!
P.S. Here's a little sneak peek!

Little Loves
I've seen these kinds of post have gotten quite popular lately, and so here is mine! My Little Loves!
I was assigned this book as a literature circle read in my English class, and I finished it on week three! I loved it so much, it was amazingly interesting and put thought provoking questions on the table. Even the movie was great!
These photo collections of identical twins, Irma and Hrefna are so cool.
The Shining is my favourite movie, and for my birthday I had my friends over for an outdoor movie night.
I love the song Riptide by Vance Joy
Maren Vik's blog has gorgeous photos; Maren is such an artist.
Hope you love these things as much as I do!

Spring for Winter
What can I say? When it's summer I crave winter, when it's fall I crave spring. Oh well, in California it's all the same! Here I am wearing boots from Forever 21, jacket from H&M, and dress from second hand. Very exciting things coming up! I'm starting my own Etsy shoppe, where I'll sell bags made from fabric with my own designs on it! Oh my! I hope to post that they're up soon!
What's your favourite season?

Halloween Spirit OOTD
I absolutely love love love love love LOVE Halloween! I always want to putt up decorations in early September, which drives my parents crazy! I just love the feeling of fall, and all my favourite autumn things come flooding into my mind (such as these). But this year, October has zoomed right past! We never found time to carve pumpkins, I never made any Halloween crafts, and I never watched a single Halloween special! Crazy, right? I think I was just too preoccupied with school and scouts and everything that I never even saw Halloween coming. But I thought I'd at least dress up for one day, and so here is my Halloween outfit!
Skirt and socks are from Target, shoes are from Forever 21, sweater is from the Gap.
What are you going to be for Halloween? I'm being Eloise (from the Plaza)!

Lately...
To make up for lost time (and some guilt), here's a little collection of what's new!
My lovely boy Charlie has grown a liking to sleeping on my overalls... but only while I'm wearing them!
My friend Bailey has dedicated her song to me! Her music and videos can be found here.
I've found the perfect pen for writing on myself (a little habit I picked up to leave little notes/drawings on my hands to brighten my day). What I've written on my hand here is my favourite definition.
To add to my ever-growing collection of sun socks: sheep!
I drew a picture of a flat I lived in in a dream, and replicated it about six months later... the details had completely left me!
I've taken quite a liking to my IB geometry class!
I bunny-sat little Rorshack here for a dear friend for a weekend
My first high school football game!
My friend and I managed to eat an entire vegan chocolate cake while having a horror movie marathon night... and regret nothing!
A new craft I thought of for defusing faerie lights, tutorial will be up soon!
xoxoxo,
Audrey
